I am the director of a small tutoring school in Texas. I got into public education very briefly, realized that America's schools are failing our children and that I could not do anything from inside the school except become part of the whole failing system, and just as quickly got out and found this position. I am kind of like the principal of a very small school where all the students get one on one attention all the time. I like to cook, travel, and spend time with my husband and our little kitty cat. And I love to read. Anything and everything I can get my hands on. Hence my decision to join this club. I am always eager to share books and my thoughts about them with others, and would love to get to know people through an online book club at some time.
